Design Technician @ Starline Windows (2015-Present)

As a Designer, my task is to study the Architectural plans from the Architect to generate window layouts,elevations and schedules using Starline Windows product. Being able to get a general idea of how the building is designed with regards to its layout, elevations, slab edge plans, building envelope design and details. Working closely with Contract Managers, Technical managers, Engineering Technologists, Shop production workers and Site coordinators.

Facilitate Preliminary Design to Final shop drawings of Aluminum-Walls, Doors & Windows, Spandrel Glass, Double & Triple Glazed Glass, Acoustical Glass & others, for Architectural approval and Site installation. Knowledge of Starline windows extrusions, window configurations, specifications and details.  Produce Fabrication sketches for shop manufacturing using ICE-edge software and windowmaker softwares. Support Contract Managers To Supply & Install Low, Mid to High Rise Residential l Buildings Projects are mostly high residential condominiums from 10 to 25 storeys based in British Columbia, Canada.
